Hi, I'm Nicold!

I turn boxes and squiggles into rhyme and reason.

I am a dynamic User Experience Architect that loves problem solving and whiteboarding. I'm proficient at prototyping and wireframing in Axure. In general I am very adept in the areas of information architecture, user flows, storytelling, and usability. I keep up to date on the most current software and techniques available to yield high quality work in an optimal time. Additionally, I work well in group settings, while still retaining the ability to complete tasks independently. I also bring to any environment, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and great time management and organizational skills.

My Skills

Prototyping

I produce interactive prototypes to convey interaction to stakeholders, development and to perform user research to gain insights early in the development process.

Wireframing

I use static wireframes to convey design choices and demonstrate proof of concept to stakeholders and development.

Interaction Design

I love designing products that help the user achieve their goals in the most efficient and pleasant way possible.

User Research

I thrive in user centered design environments, letting the users collective needs dictate a design is a best practice that I follow. User research is important to me so that I may find solutions to problems as well as validate those solutions.

Flows & Journey Maps

I create and use user flows and journey maps to identify user pain points and and map the business needs to the personas.

Personas

Knowing your user is a major asset to successful design, building personas helps you keep your users goals and motivations in mind as your address their specific needs.
